miso soup

If you have time, it’s a good idea to make the dashi stock properly, prepare tofu, fried tofu, or whatever toppings you like, and enjoy the miso soup slowly. That’s true, but it’s not normal to be so careful when eating in the morning before going out.

I know I should eat breakfast, and I don’t want to be so hungry that I feel sick. However, when you want to sleep until the last minute and want to make breakfast as quickly as possible, freeze-dried miso soup is convenient.

If you have hot water to boil while drinking coffee, tea, or hot water, you can make miso soup by simply pouring it into a mug. But until now, I’ve always felt a little uncomfortable about having miso soup in a mug. You could use a soup bowl, but it’s more convenient to have a handle, so I end up using a mug instead.

So, I found a “soup bowl with an easy-to-grip handle” for 499 yen at Nitori. The size is approximately 10.5cm in diameter and 7cm in height. The material is not wood, but PET resin and ABS resin. It has a woody appearance. It is compatible with miso soup, and has a heat and cold resistance of -20 to 140 degrees Celsius. Microwave safe.

at’s great about it is that it has a small memory inside that you can see but can’t see. It comes in three stages: 150cc, 200cc, and 300cc. It’s very helpful to be able to check the recommended amount of hot water written on the freeze-dried package in memory. Of course, there is nothing wrong with freeze-dried soup.

This soup bowl itself weighs about 100g, so it’s definitely lighter than a mug. And is the container itself slow to heat up? Is heat conduction slow? Therefore, it feels easier to drink than those made of ceramic or glass.

I also think that if you want to enjoy miso soup with a handle, the ingredients inside should be smaller! It’s much easier to drink things like green onions and nameko mushrooms that you can drink without using chopsticks, rather than things that are full of vegetables like eggplant or yams. I also like the soup to be like corn soup, rather than minestrone or pot-au-feu. Well, it’s fine if you use chopsticks or a fork.

Since it has a handle, you won’t feel guilty even if you hold it with one hand while standing and drinking. Personally, I keep one at my desk for work, and it seems convenient when lunch is OK with a convenience store onigiri and freeze-dried soup or miso soup.

en a bowl has a handle, it is functional and free, and because it has a handle, it doesn’t fall over or spill easily, so maybe it’s a good idea to use it for children? In addition to miso soup and soup, it seems to be good as a serving plate for hot pot.
