The dark blue curtain with a cute logo on it is a landmark.

Musubido is located in Osaka’s Nakazakicho area, which is lined with stylish cafes and general stores, and is a restaurant where you can enjoy freshly made rice balls set meal style. The interior of the store has a warm, woody feel, and is a compact but relaxing space. There are 4 seats at the counter and 2 tables that seat 4 people for a relaxing meal in a group. A variety of cat goods are sold next to the counter, as well as handmade goods.

There are also table seats available on the second floor. The number of lines has been reduced due to the increased number of seats. Hot and cold tea are self-service.

Enjoy carefully selected rice balls and miso soup with lots of ingredients.

“Musubido Lunch” 900 yen

The main dish of “Musubido Lunch”, which is limited to 30 servings, consists of two large rice balls. The three side dishes change daily, and you can choose from three types of miso soup. A mini yogurt with strawberry jam is also included.

The two bag-shaped rice balls made with Hinohikari rice grown in Nara Prefecture are made with the same amount of rice as one large bowl, so they are quite filling. It is eaten wrapped in seasoned seaweed from Hiroshima and Fukushima carefully selected by the person in charge. The slightly sticky rice and the tangy, sweet and spicy seasoned seaweed are a perfect match! You can also add rice balls for 50 yen each.

There are three types of miso soup available: pork soup and two types that change daily. Only in winter, pork soup is replaced with kasujiru every week. Tonjiru is available on this day. In addition to large-cut daikon radish and carrots, it also contains konnyaku and chikuwa, making it a hearty dish! There are a lot of ingredients, so just the pork soup will fill you up.

Don’t miss the daily side dishes. The main dish of the day was “simmered chicken thighs”, and the two side dishes were “stir-fried radish and potato with fragrant oil” and “pumpkin salad with roasted almonds and bacon.” The plate containing the pumpkin salad is made of monaka skin, so you can eat it. The side dishes change daily, so you can enjoy a different side dish every day.

We also recommend the healthy keema curry!

“Soy Keema Curry” 800 yen

Another lunch menu, “Soy Keema Curry,” comes with two daily side dishes, a salad, and a dessert. Keema curry is a healthy dish that uses minced meat, tofu, and vegetables. It’s not too spicy, so even people who don’t like spicy food can enjoy it.

Both menus can be taken out for the same price. It can be used as a lunch box for various occasions. Business days are basically weekdays only. It’s only open for lunch from 11:30 to 2:00 p.m., so be sure to visit when you want to eat a delicious lunch in the Nakazakicho area.
