A famous ramen shop in Hokkaido burned down, and the owner was rushed to the hospital.
At around 9:30 a.m. on the 19th, a fire broke out at Sora, a famous ramen restaurant in Sapporo’s Chuo Ward that is popular for its miso ramen.
Thirty-two fire trucks and other vehicles worked to extinguish the fire, but the flames spread from the first floor where the ramen shop was located to the upper floors, and the three-story building was completely destroyed.
The store owner suffered burns to his throat and face and was rushed to the hospital.
It is said that preparations were being made at the time of the fire.
